Gilgamesh, two thirds god and one third human, is faced by his worst fears. His one and only friend, Enkidu, falls sick. Their long-time friendship finally comes to an end. Enkidu dies and leaves behind him Gilgamesh to live with sorrow for the rest of his life. Gilgamesh refuses to let Enkidu go, and his grief takes him to an impossible journey.
This short story is part of a greater epic called the Epic of Gilgamesh. It is believed that it's the oldest literature in history and is, unbelievably, still relevant to our lives nowadays.
The film was shot on 35mm.
