Formerly B. Hamptons (on 3rd and Harrison in Victorian Village), this new restaurant/bar/night club/hang-out (now opened for a little over a month) is located in the old Estrada's spot on King Ave. - just east of Neil Ave..  While the new proximity to the OSU campus makes it easier for students to patronnize, the nightly drink specials, awesome selection of munchies, and atmosphere make it a routine destination for former B. Hampton's regulars.  It's nice people (we met a bunch when we were there) and even nicer specials! - CowTV will be there on Tuesdays for their $1 tacos and $6 pitchers of margaritas!  Come, amigos, break taco shells with us.
 
What's new?  too much to describe - but here's a few - new over-stuffed, cozy sofas, and lounge chairs, flat screen TVs at every angle, a dedicated dance floor and pool tables, an awesome OUTDOOR DINING PATIO (even open in cold weather with portable heaters) complete with dedicated bar, and good food - especially the barbeque chicken pizza and these incredible potato puffs stuffed with cheese - they call 'em "Munchers" - we just celled 'em damn good!  Really, the only thing missing at the new Hampton's on King is a dedicated pair of house slippers you put on every time you walk through the doors (you'll "get" this comment when you go and agree).
 
Anyway, it's this new mix of patrons (with still one of the best Happy Hours in town) along with a new, cool space and incredible selection of beers and good food that led CowTV to Hampton's on King - and it helped answer the question, "Why did B. Hampton's close?"
