Exploring an underground bomb shelter that has been abandoned for 30 years.
This nuclear fallout shelter was built in New Orleans, during height of the cold war. According to the Office of Civil Defense in the 1950s, the shelter was constructed to prepare for "disasters caused by enemy attacks or other hostile action, or by fire, flood, earthquakes, or other natural causes."
NOTE: There were no "no trespassing" signs and the steel door was wide open. We did not molest the site in anyway; we only observed and recorded.
