Fixation is a true life documentary focusing on the thrilling world of single speed cycling. Shot over the course of 12 weeks, Fixation captures, for the first time, the excitement and popularity of this growing sport from all perspectives. Dont use a car to film. Dont use the 7d when in motion (scooter or skate board) The chip cant handle that much movement. 7D will be great for your camera pans, tilts, or tripod shots.
Remember to film the in between stuff, not always just the cool, "pretty shots" get the, dirty,out of focus, incorrectly framed, messy shots. Sometimes they cut together really well and give the video some really great personality.
If its a true documentary, you'll want to make it more about the person and less about just riding with no story.
Browse the web and look at all the different styles of filming cycling and then look at non cycling videos to give you inspiration. Come up with your our version of it all.
