From Nordic Hus:
"Nordic Hus is a Brooklyn-based agency created to facilitate musical projects between Norway and The United States. It exists to help Norwegian artists gain exposure in the U.S. via New York. The Hus is based in founder & producer Erik Braund's recording studio in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, providing a home away from home for Norwegians visiting New York to perform and record. Erik grew up in Alaska and has musical roots there as well. Think of it as the Norwegian Music Embassy in the United States."
The first liaison from Nordic Hus was Heroes & Zeros, who I covered for NBC. Now we're going from modern rock to the lovely Norwegian singer-songwriter Elise Vatsvaag and her pianist Paul Fredrik Johannessen the first Pocket Show since my return from Greece. The duo performed a Vatsvaag original, "His Victoria," right here in my Bed-Stuy living room.
