Karl Kimbel opened Klunk Bicycles in 2005 under the impression that he could use his old bike collection and parts to sell to the Columbia bike community.
What he found was that, despite having two other shops in town already, there was a greater demand for cheap bikes and recycled parts than he thought.
Six years later, business is strong and all cultures within the cycling community are represented.
