Rhose, imagines the dreams of a young Filipina working in Hong Kong as a domestic helper. While her dreams dont turn out perfectly, Rhose still captures the hearts and hopes of all who understand the hardships faced by domestic helpers from the Philippines.
Paul Meredith lived in Hong Kong during all of the 1990s, where he met Rhose and many other dedicated Filipinos, and was always impressed with their strong work ethic and gentle way with children. This was the main inspiration of Rhose.
