Behind Pogo: 'Bangarang'
An inside look at 'Bangarang', my remix of Spielberg's 'Hook'. In this video, I take you through the individual sounds and sections that make up the track in FLStudio, and share with you my experiences in composing it.

You also have a voice that is easy to listen to and would be great for voiceovers.
I've tried Ableton Live, and find it works best in the live arena. My attempt at sequencing this many samples in Ableton was a nightmare.
Everything's set to locked when you open an old FL Studio project (8 and below I think) in a recent version of the software.
To disable locked rows, right click and untick 'lock to content'. This'll allow you to paint other patterns onto that row alongside other clip events, which'll move you from dedicating rows to individual patterns, and instead to instruments and concepts (For instance, a 'lead drum riff' row could accomodate drum sequences spanning various patterns).
<3
Anyway, was really interesting and I hope you do more of them in the future.
Thanks
I have no experience in creating music as a visual artist, but this inspired me to try because of the sheer joy in hearing the arrangements of sounds and rhythms in your work.
Much respect and best of luck in Tibet.
P.S. You did use the "just listen" sample, I think it's right before house beat-y part comes in. Plus, I may be mistaken, but did you use a sample of Peter and Rufio crowing or whatever that bird noise is they do?
I'm really happy you're doing this! It really makes us appreciate your music more. I look forward to seeing more of these! Keep up the great work, Nick!
I also use a tracker/sequencer called Jeskola Buzz, now that's chaos. XD
Kind regards. ;)
anyway massive tune and cool 'how was made" video
you're amazing man!
