As the hip hop collective Odd Future is permeating music and pop culture, the L.A. skate culture they sprung from is in the spotlight too.
Meet Duckworth, a 22-year-old musician and design student who was one of very few skaters in South Central Los Angeles as a teenager. He told Turnstyle about his background as a young skater in the hood, and explained why skate culture’s still has a hold on him today.
