A homage to classic denim backpatch and bi yearly graffiti exhibition.
The Denim back patch jacket in New York during the early 70's, was a way of wearing and representing your gangs’ colours. In the late 70's and early 80's some of these members became the fore fathers of the graffiti and hip hop culture, with this the jean jacket changed from gang patches to bboy attire, colourful pieces, characters and crew names.
The featured artists in Back Burners group show will use their individual artistic talent to pay respect to this culture.
