A little information on Jellyfish Lake...

Jellyfish Lake is located in Palau. Thousands of years ago these jellyfish became trapped in a natural basin on the island when the ocean receded. Over time they evolved into a new species that lost their stinging ability.

What were your settings on the camera and did you color correct? When I was there in March the water was much more green and we did not have as many jellyfish floating around. Thanks in advance.

I shot the video on various manual settings however the white balance was always set to auto and did no post processing or color correction. Thanks for watching!

Thank you Bruno! It's real and they can techncially sting but most of their stings are not strong enought to hurt human skin but my fiancee did get a minor sting on her leg. Totally worth it in the name of adventure! =)

Thank you Amanda! I was diving in Darwin's Arch in the Galapagos last year. I find isolated places like Galapagos and Palau are the most fascinating places to go! Seeing Darwin's theories at work in front of your eyes illustrates how fascinating life is! You totally can see them following the sun from above! I've seen shots where you can see them packed at the surface. Great idea, go to Palau and shoot it! =) Thank you for watching!
