Tigers Coach Gary Pinkel arranged to have MU Athletic Director Mike Alden present the trophy to the team midway through its bye-week running drills. Acting on behalf of Big 12 Commissioner Dan Beebe, Alden congratulated the team, recognized the four co-captains and handed the hardware to Pinkel, who passed it along to quarterback Chase Daniel.
