KICK-OFF MEETING FOR MEDTECH INNOVATION CENTER AND CARETECH INNOVATION

MedTech Innovation and CareTech Innovation are part of a venture to generate business in the healthcare-related business sector, initiated by the Development Forum of Central Denmark Region.

The two centres have received funding to create and implement research, development and competence building projects for the purpose of increasing commercialization of research results in the area of healthcare.

Projects must be developed and implemented in collaboration with the stakeholders working with healthcare: staff, patients, organizations and businesses.

The two centres have different starting points when it comes to research and business: MedTech Innovation Center in bio-medical technology and CareTech Innovation in information and communication technology (ICT) in healthcare.

There will be close collaboration between the two centres – both in terms of management and project activities – to maximize the outcome of the funding.

KICK-OFF MØDE FOR MEDTECH INNOVATION CENTER OG CARETECH INNOVATION

MedTech Innovation Center og CareTech Innovation er en del af Vækstforum for Region Midtjyllands megasatsning inden for erhverv-sundhed.

De to centre har fået midler til at skabe og gennemføre forsknings-, udviklings- og kompetenceopbygningsprojekter med henblik på at øge kommercialiseringen af forskningsresultater inden for sundhedsområdet.

Projekterne skal udvikles og gennemføres sammen med aktørerne inden for sundhedsområdet: personale, patienter, organisationer og virksomheder.

De to centre tager forsknings- og forretningsmæssigt afsæt i forskellige områder: MedTech Innovation Center i bio/medicoteknologi og CareTech Innovation i IKT i sundhedssektoren.

Der vil både ledelses- og projektmæssigt blive et tæt samarbejde på tværs af de to centre for at få mest mulig gavn af de bevilgede midler.
