Artists in the Archive, a collaborative project between The Hive Archive and the Providence Athenaeum, was conceived as a means to explore the possibilities the Athenaeum holds by inviting three artists (Holly Ewald, Lisa Perez, and Susannah Strong) to spend three months delving into the library's special collections and creating original work based on their findings.
