Waww Al ! This is an excellent machinima, excellent rythm: I was a bit scared when I saw its length, but I was in very quickly... and what a story !
    An impressive machinima.

Incredible work here man, really enjoyed this. The editing and camerawork was superbly done. I'm also super jealous that you're able to run SL so smoothly lol - the visuals were very crisp and the animations were not glitchy in the slightest (the first time I've seen that in an SL movie). I also really loved the occasional depth-of-field effects you used and the transitions were excellent. Really nice music too that fitted perfectly. Nice to see Sydney Poma in there especially :P

Like Stvn said, for an outsider the story is a little hard to pick up at first - not because it's complex but because there are a lot of little distracting features in the transitions, etc (for example, getting changed in the middle of trying to escape the bot seemed to distract from the story because it didn't make sense). I think there were some effects that looked really pretty but for me didn't have any real purpose and were actually a bit confusing in the context of the film. It was maybe just the fact that they were used in the middle of what were very tightly edited sections of dialogue, etc (for me the dialogue seemed rushed in places and needed more pauses for dramatic effect but that's more personal taste than anything).

Overall this was a very artistically appealing film that had a great story, superb acting and by far the best camerawork I've ever seen in an SL movie, but for me needed more time to breathe, let the action soak in and allow the viewer to keep up with the story. However, like I said that's probably just me as I'm a big fan of slow-paced films. Regardless, this was a superb accomplishment and I was honoured to be a part. Great job :)

    ***** - 5 stars

Thanks for this comment. I agree with you in many ways. I just finish, and its the moment to see what i really did. was a long work.. too much energy. ;)

For me, this is a learning process, because my dream is to do a movie, then all your comments are very important to me..

About people Rl, that's true, its hard to understand in some parts, because this film has sl language in many parts. I try my best, next time I will try better.

    Thanks again

Being a SLifer myself, I found a lot of the little references hilarious (the rapid change of dress was satirical--before you can go on any quest you have to get into the right clothes haha! ("codpieces required), the fist shake in front of the thousands taken from the Na'vi Avatar sim, etc. It's a story, AND a spoof on Second Life, meant for a SL machinima contest. But I get the point about being confusing to outsiders when it has so many insider touches. Very refined sense of humor.

This video lends itself to a question I have pondered for a long time. That's the question of what happens to our Avatars once we log off. Do they die? I somehow feel that they do not die, but lend themselves to the betterment of the grid. Assisting our logged on Avatars unseen to the owners or masters of those Avatars, but seen and acknowledged by the Avatars that are logged on. The journeys and stories of the unheard & the unseen. :)

Very well made Film with mixed realities, paced so that you want to finish watching film.
I found myself rewinding a couple times to really follow the story and not ad-lib in my mind, what I thought it meant.
Overall an excellent & well made film utilizing multiple platform/techniques and collaborations. :)

@LaPiscean: I also would like to know, what our avatars do, when we are logged off. Well lets do an experiment and install a hidden camera, where we can observe them. Outcome could be interesting ^^

@Alfonso: you are one of the masters of this genre. This movie is really full of great ideas, craftmanship and has pace and momentum. Really well done, call me impressed.
