Basque handball was celebrated at the Pilota Besta, which commemorated the 30-year anniversary of the fronton, or court, built at the home of Mike and Jeanette Bidart. They hosted the party for the Chino Basque Club, which was attended by about 200 people on April 30, 2011. Basque handball players from Chino, Bakersfield and San Francisco battled it out in action-packed exhibition games.
