RGB Music Project by Kenji Kojima is a composite artwork of visuals, music and technologies that converts visual data into a music in attempts to discover relation between visuals and musics. The music is not an impression of a photograph of a musical variation. It composes a score from color data directly. The Web program "The Current News Music" converts RGB color pixels to a music. It reads RGB value of pixels from the top left to the bottom right of a photograph horizontally. However an image contains millions of pixcels, then pixel data are reduced to a mosaic pattern for duration control. One mosaic color makes three notes of sounds, and the length of note is determined by high or low value of the pixel. RGB value 120 is the middle C. Value 0 is no sounds. The web application "The Current News Music" has some arrangement functions which changes instruments, tempos and scales.
