jacob whittaker 11 months agocool, youre probably familiar with the technique of using a pistol shot/balloon burst to activate and allow the acoustics to be measured, we went for the balloon option, somehow even a starter pistol seemed wrong in these spaces!

bestsoundoftheworld 11 months agoWell, my experience is with taking measurements with WinMLS (winmls.com/) and you use a loudspeaker that reproduces, in this case, a sweep of sine waves, or a MLS signal. Of course, spending a lot of time recording music in churches you start to incorporate the acoustics and be able to remember them!
