Charlie, a seven year old King Charles spaniel is a dog that lives to make people happy. A member of the Delta Society Pet Partners, Charlie and his owner Nancy Evale volunteer in settings around Syracuse, NY visiting those who need some cheering up or simply a friend that will listen without judgment.

One of the places that Evale and Charlie frequent is a home for those with terminal illnesses run by the sisters of Saint Francis called The Francis House. Other places include various church food pantries, schools and libraries in the area.
