In January 2011, the Murphy's Creek community was devastated by a flash flood.
As a small gesture of our heart for this small, tight-knit community Hope City Church coordinated a one-day make-over of the school to enhance the facilities and offer some joy and refuge to the children, teachers and parents.
Whilst it was only 1 day, the outcomes were phenomenal and equated to approximately 600 'man-hours'.
