It is not every day you hear about environmentally clean aviation but Calin Gologan has designed and built one of the first craft optimised for electric flight. It was flight tested by Burt Rutan's Scaled Composites Test Pilot Jon Karkow and appeared at the Aero 2011 show in Friedrichshafen Germany. Lukas Willcocks of lukafoto.com was there to cover the show and had a chance to meet Calin to discuss this venture.
