A short video about boats, shot with a Kodak Z1012 IS digital camera. This is not my regular video camera of course, but I used it for the purposes of my review at FreshDV: freshdv.com/?p=2663 . It was shot at San Mateo's marina (Coyote Point). Most scenes are over-exposed as this specific camera has no exposure control in its video mode.

Music and video are licensed separately under the Creative Commons "BY" licenses (2.0/fr and 3.0/unported respectively).

Very nice colouring. This footage is actually pretty impressive. Too bad there is no exposure control, although it only pops up once or twice. Is it full hd?

As all new Kodak digicams, it goes up to 720/30p.

Though, Kodak is never solid camera maker, but this look good, blue colour is very nice. And I guess this maybe auto control camera so some frames looks over exposed. And it seems focus is not as good!

It is good sign that more & more digital camera manufacturer now giving HD movie option and Fuji also launch one HD camera, but best is Casio among all.

I love it. A lot of people are saying Kodak HD cameras are horrible. I can live with my Kodak EasyShare Z1285 perfectly. All I do to fix the focus problem is set it to Single AF.

    Nice video.

Do you mind sharing how you edit your videos from your Kodak V1233? I have the same model and am not sure what tools I need to capture and edit the video

Great video! And thanks for leaving a comment on my Coyote Point one too. I shot that last weekend; it's been lovely weather to be out and about in the Bay Area!

Theirs something magical about boats and water, lovely video just had a slight problem with it stopping at 1:35, also must say how pleased I was to read about Creative Commons in one of your other videos I watched the other week, I am know a convert to Royalty Free music.

I love the color dancing on the water and also the silhouettes - the music works very well with this imagery. I'm also a fan of the music on Jamendo and have started using some tracks from there on my clips.

love it as well, like edvard said i think we all enjoy these dancing colours, however the compression seems to be quite bad on stream vimeo and does not 'reflect' probably the true quality of the movie.

Thank you. You can also download the original clip btw, before vimeo's compression. Link is on the right sidebar.
