Very beautiful scenes, but overall confusing (for me). The scrolling text is too fast to read it all.

Very good. Sharp editing and fitting tragic music.
I love these old world tragedy style approach to life.
Like Albert Camus said *Life is absurd but worth living heroically.
    Not a perfect quotation possibly.

I agree with others reading the page was diffucult.

What to hate in our lifes ?
Even the death could be beauty if we don't separete life from the death.
Death is another form of life. We often call it after life.
"Paradise lost", when we lose the meaning of our life. That's when we face our own death by facing the darkside of the moon. "Paradise begins" after we find the true meaning of our life.
It was very beautiful, the way you scrip the death and life through your clip.
Thank you very much for your beautiful work through the clip!

no mate not really! But its just not my cup of tea and to give you justice there are really nicely balanced shots in there in every sense and it is v. dramatic. and yes, i did watch it to the end! :)

    Mark,

Very dramatic. It's hard to compliment such an intense soundtrack (which I love, btw) with visuals but I think you pulled it off. The book pages blowing is very cool.

I would definitely rethink the text because it didn't work for me, felt a little out of place. Also, the inclusion of the brief footage of the woman looking out the window and the apartment shot felt recycled from "This is me" and took me out of the piece a little.

B&W was a great choice and really accentuated the sense of intimacy and darkness. The editing was also spot on.

    Nice work.

So sorry to play a dissonant tone here. I think the footage is really great. But I think too it is possible to make the expression a lot bigger by editing stronger. For example slow movements (synced to the music) over the paintings. It is done way too static. The text font is not styled in relation to the footage. Maybe variable speed for the clock(s). Too simple dissolve clouds/buildings. Of course the text length. Wouldn't actual writing (simulated) not be better than just scrolling text ? Around 1.27 (book, tekst), the first frames maybe also showing some wind blown pages to kinda arrive to the page you want. Speed issue old-modern images. I think gradually going faster ending in an "explosion" (not literally) of the water falling. 1.49 a rolling tear maybe. No simple fade out for the music but actually ending (hard). Eh, yes, I am in a very good mood today. I just think this has way more potential through better post-production. So sorry to be so harsh. I believe in it though, hence me watching it several times and posting this.
