The Queens Drive is a very rough trail that winds around the steep slopes of The Remarkables in southern New Zealand. It was apparently used long ago to herd sheep from a valley on one side of the mountains to another. An initial trek around the trail in late winter is unsuccessful because of the danger, but a return in summer is successful.
