Barcelona - La Gente!
After "Barcelona - La Guapa!" ( vimeo.com/2056424 ) here is the video about the people (La Gente) in Barcelona!
There are so many different people - and that's another point that makes this city really beautiful!

But Barcelona got something special, nice video Wolfgang
I've already visited 4 out of 5! Only Tokyo is missing...
Thanks!
Schön, dass er Dir gefallen hat!
What are you going to do next???
The music rox...!!!!!!!
I lived for one year in Barcelona and I've talked to many Catalans regarding this quest for independence.
Most of them said this is nonsense...
I am not a spiteful person or refusal to my hometown.
But I'm too tired of this city full of consumerism and fashionable people that is only passing through... surely as most of you.
You don't know anything and this video does not say anything about the true identity of this battered city.
BCN: A passing through city.
For me it's no fraud! Okay, I lived in Barcelona only for one year (and had a holiday flat for 2 years more), but I still love many aspects of this beautiful city.
I really like to see all these different people there, from all around the world. The vivid cultural scene. The good restaurants. The beach. The nightlife... and so on.
Maybe you didn't see all these things anymore. Like many old men do not see the beauty of their old wives.
Maybe you should move to another location. And after some years return to Barcelona - and maybe you will see then the positive aspects of a multicultural city, like Barcelona, again.
It was not my intention to show what's bad in this world. You will find enough, everywhere.
If you want to show the bad aspects of Barcelona - you are free to do so. I'm waiting for your creative input, about the battered world...
I'm sure, sometimes all people have the right to have fun!
But.. I can say my opinion, doesn't it?. Therein is the interesting, huh?.
So, to finish (not so easy to explain with my proper agility in English ...):
YES ... The beauty of Barcelona ...
The beauty that you show is exactly like an ad. Like a commercial. Really Cool!
BCN has become that, a kind of a big 'marketing product' to attract people from other countries. This was planned years ago and since then is running like a dream...
Well! My city is within the 5 most important for the bourgeois world standard. The city of design, architecture, "Clubbing", night life with lots of drugs... and the sun... and the beach (in summer of course, because we are now at 4 degrees with a coolness cold...), etc ...
I think it's great that both you and others who applaud your videos admire this kind of 'beauty' of my hometown. But it would be very interesting for you that you stop to think about the beauty of a place beyond its wrapping.
Beyond getting to know beautiful girls/boys from Brazil or Amsterdam, or to pay excessive prices by entering nightclubs, festivals, restaurants or expensive museums (funded by the "Generalitat", this is, by those who work here... They should be free, like years ago.!!).
I know it's easy for me to to make the mistake and fall into the little judge without objectivity when you see your city degenerating that way in less than ten years...
I understand and I regard your words about moving to another country to appreciate the beauty that is denied to me now...
But I invite you to reflect. Without acrimony.
I had the great fortune of having travelled a lot (never enough ..), I am not an uneducated person, I am not a simple, I'm not an unhappy person or antisocial, and I am 30 years old ... And I assure you that I have enjoyed during enough time of the advantages of living in a place so full of contrasts as Barcelona and this incredible 'nightlife' ...
But believe me, Now this is a farce.
And, man, is not so easy to find images that show the bad things, nasty and unfair with a legion of fans crying out for justice. Like it is not easy to identify so many people lost in a life of deshinibitorios pleasure, youths handed over to a life of pleasure, life of no-mind, "amusing ourselves to death"...
But it's useless to preach with your ideas to people who doesn't want to listen..
Please just think a little about it.
See u!
"Life is a`changing all the time!" said Bob Dylan
I see that it is difficult for you to see that your hometown is changing a lot - and that you have concerns about the negative side of this progress.
I understand what you are saying, but I do not share your fear that this could only lead in the wrong direction.
Very often we have to accept or deal with many changes in our life. Good and bad ones.
I think, you should be more positive about that.
And believe me, I'm able to see the negative aspects of tourism and capitalism, but I don't want to walk around with a bad attitude because of that. Life is short - and we should make the best of it. We should appreciate life with severity *and* happiness.
So please don't misunderstand my video. I know that it's showing only the surface of Barcelona, but for me - and many others - this surface looks really attractive... ;-) - that doesn't mean that I'm not aware that there is also another side of the medal.
CU!
Excellent, the diversity and the beauty of the town are very well shown
Me gusta mucho es excellente... ;-))
