Himalayan Grains follows two women – a small-scale farmer and a well-known scientist/activist – innovating new ways to create an ecological food movement that can both feed 1.2 billion Indians, and ignite greater respect for the earth and the farmers who work off of it.

Director's Bio

After working in Africa and Latin America for Global Brigades, an international development organization, Luke discovered how generalized media portrayal of low-income countries and communities often dehumanizes the locals and renders them voiceless in their own story. As a result, Luke founded Redefined Films, a platform that democratizes media and empowers stories that matter.
