When Jesus said, “It is finished!” The Bible tells us that rather than it being a whimper of a dying martyr who was exhausted, discouraged and defeated, Jesus shouts! Just like he shouted out “Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?” he said, “It is finished.” I want to tell you, the universe shook when Jesus said that. We are going to look at the implications of that this weekend.
