This app takes visual input and generates a height field from it. In this case a video and a webcam.
The heightfield can be generated from the RGB or the HSB values of the pixels in the image. Simple blur and contrast controls allow for tweaking of the field.

Korhan Erel 1 year agoThis is amazing! I am a novice processing user/musician with an objective of creating visuals that are derived from live music (free improvisation in this case). I wish I could do something like this. -

1 year ago Thanks for the kind words. If anyone told me a couple of years ago that I'd be doing stuff like this I wouldn't believe them either. But images I can do. Music is still total mystery to me. :-) -
