I recently bought the Indiehardware Stabilizer and quickly found I couldn't balance a +2lb camera on it... (The Indiehardware is rated at up to 2lbs) This video shows a few tweaks that can be done to balance a 4-5lb camera plus an LCD monitor on it. It works quite well. I've put some test footage at the end to show you the results. Of course, it was a little windy and maybe not as smooth as it could be.
