This is my reel for movies I either directed or was the director of photography. Most of the footage was shot with a Sony HVR-V1U and a Letus Extreme. I used canon prime lenses.

There's a lot of shutter roll in some of this footage. Is the Letus Extreme a vibrating or a rotational adapter?

Yeah, the shutter roll seems to happen to the clips that I used motion stabilization in FCP.

Letus extreme has a vibrating plate.

I've got a 35mm adapter that has a vibrating GG, and with my footage it tends to roll the shutter when I move the camera too fast.

If you're doing moving shots, with a steadicam or handheld, that may be causing the shutter roll. When you run SmoothCam on the clip in FCP later, it probably just pronounces the effect. That's my guess.

Anyway, nice reel!
