The second cruise of the 2011 season started out sunny in the early afternoon but by 5:30, peak crusing time, the clouds and showers rolled over Patriot Place and the Mass Cruisers bi-weekly cruise at the Bass Pro Shops on Rte. 1 in Foxborough. D.J. Bruce Palmer showed up but couldn't set up and although about 100 loyal die hard cruisers showed up with their cars, the drop tops made a quick exit trying to beat the rain. But double rainbows broke out as the showers passed. Cars were still showing up to schmooze and cruise despite the weather.
