A film about teenage pregnancy, Benefits, the lives and attitudes of the children of low-income families, and the stereotyping of social groups.
The story focuses on PATRICK who has recently been offered a place at a relatively prestigious London university, but shortly afterward discovered that his 15-year-old girlfriend RACHEL is pregnant. Through his conversation with FINCH, his best friend, we learn that the opportunity presented by the university course would allow him to realise his dreams, but also that he has strong morals and will not put his life before that of his child (and partner). Their dreams collide and this brings us to the somewhat absurd conclusion.
The film together with teaching materials will be distributed to secondary schools.
(done after my 2nd year at university)
