Beautiful French winter landscapes, passing by in slowmotion. Coproduction with Swedish composer Karl Nerman, who created music for my footage.
New Years eve I was in Thiérache, in the north east of France. I was fascinated by these 'empty' landscapes by a combination of mist and snow. The title refers to a poem of Yeats.
