The Good News of Salvation and the Gnostics

This talk outlines the evolution of Jesus from mortal, Jewish preacher to a member of the Trinity, created by the growing Catholic Church, which provided the hope of salvation for members of the Roman empire. The Gnostics provided the alternative of an imminent god, who could be evoked through prayer and meditation.
