Skittin Across America is a charity DVD project put together by Huge Internet Sketch Comedy Group Wooden Steel Productions consisting of Shane Hartline, Scotty Trimmier and Drew Roberts. The three guys spent over 2 months preparing to go around the country via train holding fund raising events including "STEEL STOCK 2008" that drew hundreds of people and bringing together Central Florida's Biggest Rock Bands. The guys raised over $4,000 to take this trip from their fund raising events and donations from their local community, companies and people around the world!
From July 18, 2008 to August 2, 2008 the guys traveled all the way around the country via Train from Philadelphia to Los Angeles shooting over 20 hours of footage that will be made into a documentary/sketch comedy DVD entitled of course, "SKITTIN ACROSS AMERICA". During this filming the crew met up with many big name actors, comedians and musicians all of which lent their time to this unique project. The DVD itself should be released sometime around the Holiday Season, and all the money the Wooden Steel guys make from this DVD will be given to a soon to be decided National Charity.
