3. Canon 5D Mark II - Bring up those crushed blacks!

Surprisingly there is detail there. I'm sure if it was shot at a high ISO there would be noise as well. I probably pulled the blacks up a bit TOO much with this, just to illustrate that it can be done. Thanks Alan for the original clip. I put it into Apple Compressor and converted to ProRes422. At which point I put that into Final Cut Pro and used the basic 3 way color corrector.

    Thanks for this - I've been looking for some good clips on Vimeo that are 1920x1080 and able to be downloaded (trying to work out whether 5D is a good cheapish camera for a feature film). Bit worried about the clip's interframe blur (probably just a shutter speed thing - although without manual control I guess that's always gonna be iffy...). Anyway, I know that's not the point of this hahahaha...

    NP, Toby... I just used the 5D to shoot a feature. Check out sybilludingtonmovie.com and check out the production stills. I'm really happy with how it turned out.
