Please join the Massachusetts Afterschool Partnership (MAP) for a family engagement webinar in partnership with the SouthEast Education Professionals Partnership (SEEPP) region.

This webinar will review the levels and indicators of family engagement so that programs can positively address the needs of their students. Family involvement in afterschool and out-of-school time programs has been shown to dramatically impact children's academic achievement and graduation rates. Additionally, effective family engagement strategies strengthen and support a program's climate and effectiveness. During the webinar participants will discuss a developmental framework for supporting youth and will better understand the techniques for dealing with common barriers to family engagement.
