Joanne Finkel, an artist and clinical social worker, was an apprentice to Frederick Franck, world-renowned artist, sculptor, and author, and ran many workshops with him until his death in 2006. At his request, she continues his legacy of offering drawing workshops that promote peace through seeing and drawing to people of all ages and artistic abilities. Her own drawings and watercolors are often exhibited in Southern Vermont.
Finkel received her master’s degree in social work from Smith College. In her private practice, she combines her passion for art and social work, offering art, trauma, and traditional therapy to individuals.
