Just a short test to see the difference in using cinestyle vs neutral picture style profile.
on the left is the neutral on the right is cinestyle treated with the provided LUT.
All shots where exposed using neutral as reference. Then the Cinestyle was switched to.
The video was rendered to quicktime mov in .h264 quality:100 and keyframe on every frame, full 1920x1080 progressive. It's available to download down on the right
At this stage there is very little difference I can see between them in this quick real world test. Though a controlled test with fixed light-conditions will probably be more accurate. And no real color correction was done (just a simple LUT) either, so the extra wiggle-room isn't tested.
