Thank you to Virginia and her family for sharing this special day.


UPDATE: Virginia passed away peacefully on January 9th, 2012 at the age of 101. She is survived by a countless number of family members and dear friends.

    Thank you for this beautiful and touching video. As I sit here watching it through tears it makes me miss my own sweet Grandmother who passed away ay 96 last Fall. Life is so precious and really the only thing that matters is the love we share with others. The love of family, friends and sometimes complete strangers. I have never met Virginia but watching this video made me feel like I was at her birthday party. I feel like I know this beautiful woman. Happy Birthday Virgina!! God BLESS you!!

    Great work! I was watching this and I was saying, WOW! The skin tones are so natural and the image is so sharp, I said, it must be a 5D, best camera!

    there was slight color correction done to bring out a few warmer colors, but totally agree that the 5D does the majority of the heavy lifting there!

    hey guys! thanks for the kind words. i used the rode (shotgun) videomic attached via shoemount to the camera the entire time. i just set the audio levels to auto on the cam.

    it's not as great as recording sound levels manually, but when its just you running around, the rode videomic does wonders and is WAY better than the on-camera mic!
