It was a commissioned by Friends Of The Earth. They were a little dubious, to begin with, that the message could be gotten across without animation or puppetry, but they were brilliant in trusting us and allowed us full creative control, so fair dues to them.

Thanks! And so you should. After I told my sister the idea she declared that she was going to stop buying two-pint cartons and now only buy pairs of one-pint cartons so "they're not lonely"

you dont help so much to get in contact with your characters.if you had small animation of exprations it would be a bit more combined. For me it was like i watch 2 bottles with faces.

We decided early on that we were not going to have any animation, movements or voiceover. We wanted to see what story we could tell will just shots and music.

This is good, really well done. Part of me expecting a comment on how things that are taken away to be recycled still end up in a landfill, and the two milk cartons would be reunited.

The challenge was to convey emotion and connection without the use of animation and puppetry, so I'm really glad people are responding to it through pure visuals, sound & music.
