our main task was to keep in spirit and tone of the film, so our initial ideas came from elements that relate to the natural motion of running (heat, air, wind, water). we chose a simple yet elegant font that conveys the message of physical presence and strength. since running can be an individual or group activity on any day, at any place and any season we had to make certain the animation, lighting and motion, has a sincere and tactile feeling while maintaining vigor, pacing and emotion.
