On April 7th, 2011 Zurich saw the inauguration of a brand new architecutural masterpiece, the Autowelt Zurich. A piece of landmark architecture, the creators went all out for this exceptional structure: seemingly floating above its surroundings, it sports a striking outer exterior – and an equally impressive interior, characterised by unexpected angles and slanted surfaces.

To mark this inaugural event flora&faunavisions joined lead agency standing ovation to craft an equally one-of-a-kind stage/screen set-up that would reflect the building’s statement structure, pick up on its exceptional architecture in visual content screened throughout the night and accompany the event’s varied and fast-paced mix of speeches, show acts and presenters. A carefully fine-tuned amalgamate of design and choreography, backdrop and contents, the resulting mix underscored on the venue’s unique spatial properties by weaving the building’s seemingly weightless appearance into the night’s visual theme.
