Synopsis: Darci Strauss is a fiery, bold woman whose struggle with aspergers has also made her somewhat of a loose cannon. One day she happens upon a flyer calling for auditions for a humble community play. Seeing this as a way to gain acceptance in society, she auditions immediately.
At the audition she encounters the director, PJ Roberts, a self-proclaimed Frenchman who is overtly flamboyant. During preparation for the play, Darci finds that she sometimes cannot come out of character, something that weighs heavily on her father and caretaker, Robert Strauss. After the play, PJ comes clean and Darci realizes that she is not the only one who is concealing her true identity.
