"THE BUTTERFLY COLLECTION", which inspired this one minute video, is a MEZZOTINT PRINT 1/50 by the gifted Cumbrian (UK) artist Susan Jameson.

Mezzotint, I understand, is a particularly laborious media in which to work. Her work is often 'Landscape' to which the mezzotint lends a pleasing softness. The resulting images are not unlike our own videos when using a DOF 35mm adapter.

I found her website and 'posted' her my film. I am relieved to say that She was pleased to see the video.
She continues to work at her studio in Cumbria.
