RightChange releases new Politizoid "Gassing Up with Obama". Gas prices continue to climb at a steady rate. Rather than drilling and taking action to stop the crisis at the pump, the Obama Administration is busy telling Americans what they should do.

You guys nailed this one! "Are you kidding me?" should be the political slogan of whoever runs against Obama.

how stupid. if you want to complain about high gas prices, why do you complain about the government trying to involve itself in economic policies? You want to drill offshore now? Did you not witness what happened in the gulf? It is easy to complain when you have no ideas or no long term answers to the problem. Gather some knowledge about the situation before rushing to judgment.

A year after the spill, recall that Obama’s fingerprints were all over that gulf disaster:
    1. Of all American politicians, Obama was documented as having received the most money from BP.
    2. In 2010, BP was also one of three finalists for Obama’s Interior Department award for “Outstanding Safety and Pollution Prevention.” Prior to the disaster, the winner was scheduled to be announced on April 30, 2010, but because the Deepwater Horizon rig exploded ten days before, Obama had the announcement “delayed” (maybe because BP had originally won?!?)
    3. And back in 2009, Obama actually recognized the very same Deepwater Horizon rig -- the one at the heart of this catastrophe -- as a “model of safety.”
Like I said, Obama’s fingerprints were all over that gulf disaster. Any questions???

How do you know I have no ideas? You sure made a huge judgment about me based on one comment. What happened in the gulf was a tragedy but compared to the decades of safe drilling, I'd say it was a reasonable risk. The failure in the gulf was the inability of anyone in the federal government to take reasonable action, as evidenced by the comments of people such as James Carville, screaming on CNN about the lack of leadership and initiative from the federal government. Had the local leaders in Louisiana and Mississippi been allowed to respond as they knew how the tragedy would have been much lessened.

Obama’s inane “I remember pumping my own gas” comment utterly failed translation to ‘I feel your pain’ -- but it actually does show everyone how this weasel of a prez hides from issues like the price of gas doubling during his imperial reign. Seriously.

Just sayin: Mr. Kurian responded to Ms. Mayfield's comment by launching a character assassination of her. He called her remarks stupid. He shamed drivers who dare complain about gas prices. He accused Ms. Mayfield of not knowing what happened in the gulf. He said she had no knowledge about the situation and accused her of "rushing to judgment." In the video in question the words spoken by the avatar of Mr. Obama are very familiar because they are Obama's exact quotes I've heard many times. Just sayin.
