DCTV's new series for older people that is being screened weekly in May and monthly in June and July. Presented by Sue Russell, the episodes include 6 physical exercise videos, a look at 6 different Get Vocal groups around the country as well as studio interviews with a variety of people that engage with a range of Age & Opportunity's programmes. The production process was designed collaboratively between DCTV, Age and Opportunity and the different local advocacy groups included in the series.
This week we'll be kicking off the programme with the 'Sit Fit' routine before talking to Tony Owens who has recently started a Physical Activity Leaders course. Then we shift the focus to Meath with a profile of the Moynalty men's shed project and a chat to Chris Forest who is a member of the Summerhill shed project. We wrap up, as usual, with a focus on the Bealtaine arts festival and this week Sinead is joined by Garvan Gallagher, a photographer with an exhibition runnning in the Clyne Gallery. Enjoy!
