A short documentary piece I put together examining contemporary patterns of tourism within the Dominican Republic through the lens of water (and the environment more generally), exploring the kinds of economic and social exchanges which have been enabled both by its very materiality and the symbolic values ascribed to it. This work came out of my involvement in a collaborative Documentary Film Practicum course that took place during the spring of 2011 at Swarthmore College.
