Stand Up is a project I started working on back in 2003 just after the beginning of the Iraq war. Due to PC limitations and lack of extra time, I stopped work on it about 75% through. After batting it around for years like a dead mouse, I decided to glue it together and call it "finished". Perfection took a back seat.

The video is self explanatory in my opinion and is simply an expression of the various media elements surrounding the lead up to and execution of the invasion of Iraq. Radiohead's "Sit Down, Stand Up" (the music in the video) was largely the inspiration for the video, as I couldn't listen to the song at the time without vivid imagery floating about in my head. From my own interpretation, the lyrics seemed quite specific, relevant, and literal at the time.
