As FIU becomes more environmentally conscious, students are taking the lead in bringing healthy food to the forefront of the debate. With spades and shovels in hand, more than 33 students have dug out a small organic concave at University Park where they plant flowers, grow vegetables and herbs and bring organic and locally grown food to the attention of the University.
